Great customer personalised experience, found my new glasses home

My family has been with Evans and McMahon Optometrists for over 20 years. The team in both Civic and Tuggeranong are friendly, give excellent service and know their profession. I fully recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality eye care.

Extra special customer service from the reception ladies! Very good with young children and extra thorough with the examination.

Attended my 2 yearly check up. Greeted by a friendly receptionist; into my appointment on time; optometrist thorough, friendly but professional too and gave feedback & explanations all the way through. She explained also why she suggested coming back in a year next time (some changes in my vision that need watching); happily provided with a replacement glasses case (even though I wasn’t getting new glasses) as the spring on my existing case had gone.

Very helpful with my transition to contact lenses. Would recommend they have been very helpful over the years to me would recommend.

Viv fitted me in for a consultation with Nick when I experienced blurring in one eye and difficulty reading. Firstly Nick allayed my fears and then conducted a thorough examination which included scans of my eyes. He explained in detail what was wrong and what could be done to fix the problem. Having entered as an extremely anxious patient I left with knowledge and confidence. Thank you Nick for your time and patience.

Dr. Tom Morton was fantastic, he was very gentle and patient with our daughter . I totally recommended him if you are looking for an optometrist behavioural.

I visited Evans & McMahon for annual eye checkup due to some health risk issues. The examination was completed professionally and, although I was offered the opportunity to buy new glasses I was not pressured to do so and was given a copy of my script.

I am so happy with the service provided by Evans & McMahon Optometrists Canberra. Their attention to my specific problems has been outstanding.

The team at Evans and McMahon Tuggeranong have been sensational! Brett, Tony & Katherine were all super helpful. I contacted them late on a Friday with a painful eye concern, and the optometrist, Katherine Gouliaev, kindly fitted me in to have a look and see how she could help. She was professional, thorough and knowledgeable, educating me on ways to help ease my condition over the weekend, and has since called me to check in and see how it is going. I have never had a medical professional do this before! We will definitely be using Katherine for all our optical needs from now on, with my wife already booked in for her latest check. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Evans and McMahon to anyone:)

I have been attending this practice for 30 years and not only do they have excellent optometrists, they have the absolute best selection of frames, from cheap through to expensive. Highly recommend them

This is an excellent practice. I have visited several others in the 3 states I’ve lived in and this one is the best. All the staff are professional, helpful and caring. I thoroughly recommend these optometrists, who are part of a small group of practitioners and not a large conglomerate business often owned by overseas interests.

Evans & McMahon have been my Optometrists for over 30 years, when I was fitted with my first pair of glasses, to this day. They have provided me with wonderful care and attention at both the Civic and Tuggeranong practices.
