E&M have been my optometrists for 3 decades and despite all the changes that have happened in that time, they have remained a great local business. I've had 3 visual emergencies in the past 3 years and they have been great, fitting me in on short notice and helping me get the right treatment. And their reception staff are fabulous!

The team at Evans and McMahon Tuggeranong have been sensational! Brett, Tony & Katherine were all super helpful. I contacted them late on a Friday with a painful eye concern, and the optometrist, Katherine Gouliaev, kindly fitted me in to have a look and see how she could help. She was professional, thorough and knowledgeable, educating me on ways to help ease my condition over the weekend, and has since called me to check in and see how it is going. I have never had a medical professional do this before! We will definitely be using Katherine for all our optical needs from now on, with my wife already booked in for her latest check. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Evans and McMahon to anyone:)

1 week before Christmas and I broke the titanium arm on an uncommon brand of rimless glasses. Nick at Evans & McMahon not only saw me within the hour, but repaired them (not bought from this store) at no charge! Will definitely be heading back for next pair and some sunglasses.

This is an excellent practice. I have visited several others in the 3 states I’ve lived in and this one is the best. All the staff are professional, helpful and caring. I thoroughly recommend these optometrists, who are part of a small group of practitioners and not a large conglomerate business often owned by overseas interests.

Evans & MacMahon are extremely experienced optometrists and the staff are friendly, helpful and eifficient. I would recommend them to everyone. I have been a patient there for about 40 years.

Staff all professional and caring highly recommend

I visited Evans & McMahon for annual eye checkup due to some health risk issues. The examination was completed professionally and, although I was offered the opportunity to buy new glasses I was not pressured to do so and was given a copy of my script.

Great service. I had an irritated eye and the optometrist and receptionist did what they could to squeeze me in for an appointment very last minute. Very knowledgeable and helpful optometrist!

Now in a new location. Great team who very much look after the customer. Hats off to Viv, Nick and Ian. Wonderful service from very friendly and efficient staff.

My son attended the practice to have a behavioral optimist assessment. As he is only 7 he was a little nervous and shy. Victoria who did his assessment not only made him comfortable but made the experience FUN! Victoria kept my son engaged and calm making the experience more than pleasant! Having worked with vision impaired children for many years, I am super aware of the importance of seeking out the best in eye care for myself and my family. Evans and McMahon have consistently provided that over many years. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They never disappoint, their high standards and expertise keep me coming back.

Extra special customer service from the reception ladies! Very good with young children and extra thorough with the examination.

Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. For me they were very patient and went above and beyond to help me and answer all my questions. I am very happy with the service and my 2 pairs of glasses. They were also a very reasonable price for a higher quality frame and lenses.

These guys are fantastic. In my very first visit to check if I would need a pair of glasses, they picked up a potential retinal damage (unrelated to the issue I went there for) in my eyes and referred me to a specialist fast. This prevented a a much bigger vision problem I would have had in the future. I am truly grateful for your competence and professionalism. I have since been recommending you to friends and family.
